gramma's coming! gramma's coming!

Yahooooooo! Gramma got on her Air India flight on standby and she is on her way to see us right this very minute. I am so psyched. Well, actually, right now I'm asleep. But even in my sleep I'm psyched. It's going to be so cool having Gramma here. I've got everything planned. First, we're going to play. And then? We're going to play. And after we finish that we're going to play. Then I'm going to let Gramma have a nap. And then we're going to go shopping for some new stuff for me. Ji tells me that Gramma is bananas for buying presents for her grandkids, and you know there are only two of us at this here point in time, so we've got to make the most of it while we can. What with Auntie Em getting married and all, who knows. Soon we may have competition! So I am going to encourage Gramma to spend the big bucks rupees now! After we go shopping I'm going to wear the new dress that Gramma is going to buy me and then we are going to play some more and maybe Gramma can have a cup of tea or a coffee. Then, we'll play. Then I might go to bed, but Gramma will have to get the toys ready for the next day. Oh, boy, it's going to be fun!

While I'm sleeping Ji is watching Superman Returns (again) and Mum is puttering around the house tidying up so that everything looks nice for Gramma. Fortunately Iaimon is coming tomorrow so the house will be really clean, way beyond what Mum is capable of doing. Today I was kind of grumpy in the afternoon. I was hungry and poopy and fussy, but you know for me fussy is equal to about 4 minutes of crying, so there's not much for anyone to complain about. Pa left at 6 am for Columbo and Uncle Sunil and his buddy (the very neat avant garde robotics artist Kiran!!) are still here and they have been enjoying celebrating Holi. We have some great photos of Ji covered in powdered colours and gentian violet from Holi, but we're going to put them up tomorrow after we show them to Gramma. Ji was so lucky. Uncle Sunil took him to a big Holi party for, like, 6 hours and he got to make paint bombs and jump in paint pools and eat sweets and everything. He is so cool. Speaking of which, check out the shirt that I found in my closet. Mum says it was Ji's but I've decided I'm going to wear it now. Pretty sweet, huh?

Some people say I look like Ji. Some people say I look like Pa. Some people say I look like Mum. Here's an oldie but a goodie I found in an old album. Check out Ji doing Kung Fu at exactly the age I am now. Man, he is soooo cool.

But I've got more hair.

XXXOOO SY
