ji's week in review

Ji Hong took his camera around with him this week and came home with some funny pictures. He's captioned a couple of them for you. Pretty nice typing for a six year old!

(Now back to me, Thaba, talking...) We had a super busy Saturday. Ran over to school at 9:30 to set up Ji's project, raced over to swimming class at 10:05, sped to the fabulous pancake breakfast in front of the library, then explored the science fair, went to the school's annual garage sale, zipped back home to eat lunch, and then hustled to my Hindi class, then back home for a nap, and dinner out with Dad's Principal and Superintendant who were staying with us for a couple of days while in India looking at setting up a new school outreach program. Phew! In the science fair picture above, check out the massive phalanx (sp?) of parent-paparazzi. Insanity. It may not surprise you that after every single certificate was handed out for the science fair and all the hundred-plus kids were up on stage, only my son was jumping in the air and doing the 'rock-n-roll' sign and grimacing and posing like Axl Rose. Only Ji.
