while watching robots

We have a knock off copy of Robots from Thailand and Ji was watching it yesterday. I was so busy with Screemie Meemie that I didn't get a chance to turn off the English subtitles. Pretty fun game, that, watching badly translated subtitles while hearing the real dialogue. The Dad robot tells the kid robot his new parts are "Henry Dawn's". Ah, yes, hand-me-downs. Later, the sexy business lady robot tells the evil business robot, "I'll scold him out." And then she escorts out the Ewen McGregor 'bot.

Ji had a good one yesterday as well. He showed me his necklace ("Real silver! From the dispenser! Only a quarter!") and told me, "Pa calls this and all jewellery 'ding ding' because that's the sound it makes when it jangles together."

And lastly, he cautioned Phet the other day not to build too many "deckers" on the building they were working on. Heh heh.
