things j.h.r.s. said: wanna gamble?

- Ji is very into space and planets and such, and often comes up with tales like the following, which can go on for upwards of half an hour.  "Book planet is made of books and the atmosphere is made of books.  There's air inside the books, there are air book bombs.  You buy them and then you put it over your face and you go [puts hands over face and breathes in deeply several times]"

- "...there are also air jet planes with chemicals to smother the fire and water bombs holding it..."

- The other day we were hanging out in bed after a nap, and Ji coined the phrase "snuggle beauty", meaning someone who loves to snuggle.  Awww...  and no mention of bombs!

- He also used the words 'specialized' and 'approve' in correct sentences this week.  And told me, "I want to show you something else I can do.  I'm very talented."

- Ji keeps asking "Is that the embassy milk?  Is it the embassy milk??"  I have no CLUE what he's talking about.  "What do you mean?  We didn't have milk at the embassy.  We didn't have any drinks at all!"  "Muuuummm, the EHM BAA SEE milk!  EHM BAA SEE!!!"  "What in god's name are you talking about????"  We go to look at the milk in the fridge.  "See Mum, it's the milk that tastes weird because it's EHM BAA SEE milk!!"  The light dawns on me.  "OOOoooh, you mean the U H T milk!"

- Ji pretends to be Bender from Futurama, a hard-drinking, heavy-smoking robot.  He comes up and says "I'm here to drink some booze.  Buddy, wanna gamble with me?"

- "Hey Mum, remember one time Gu Pa gave me a chocolate that tasted spicy?" "No, that's weird."  "Yeah, I think it was made at the tobacco factory."  "The tobacco factory?  Where they make cigarettes?"  "No, you know, the tobacco factory where my red shirt is from..."  "OH!  The toBASco factory!" "Yeah, that's what I said!"

- And lastly...  Ji is drawing a picture of Leela, a cyclops from Futurama. He is amazingly enough, drawing a cicle for her head, then draws an almost-perfect circle in the centre for her eye, and adds a wave of hair around the head, and a perfect mouth, and then puts his pen in the middle of her eye and says "Ok, let me just draw her pupa."  Heh heh.
