beeyooteeful girls!
Hey hey hey! It's me again. Seung Yi!
I have to tell you, things here have been grim since Pa went to Chennai last week. There's some kind of weird thing, like, haunting our family. As soon as Pa is out of town, someone gets sick. It could be a movie. A gross, yucky movie. With kidneys and stuff in it. A horror movie. I can imagine the music, all "screeeeek....eee whooo eeeee...." and then alot of coughing and barfing noises in the background. Actually, the movie sounds much more interesting than the reality. In real life Pa being away sucks. This time around Ji was the one who suffered from the curse. Pa left and that very night Jis had a fever of A HUNDRED AND FOUR! I had that same one back in December and let me tell you thank you very much but no thanks. It wrang him out like it wrung be out. Good, that's how. For the next five days he ate about a cornflake. Mum and me had to take care of him all the time. What a yawn: The Avengers, Superman, The Lord of the Rings. Having Ji at home sick is like being stuck at a nerdy film festival. Only with more moaning and complaining. Luckily, he finally got better and went back to school today, and tonight he ate a bag of chips so I guess he's fine now, huh?
Me, I'm doing pretty good. I am - ahem! - peeing and poohing on the toilet with remarkable accuracy these days. So long as someone asks me if I have to "go" about every five minutes I don't have any accidents. Impressive, non? As the diaper commerical says, Mommy Wow! I'm a big kid now! Only I'm not a sucker cause I don't have to wear diapers! In other news, I got accepted at the neighbourhood preschool and so did Laree. Here's us kicking back the other day:
Nyah nyah, my hair's still longer! Her mom made her shave her head last summer. Mind you, hers is thicker and more luscious. Oh well, I'll just have to convince my mom to get me extensions.
So yeah, school. Apparently it'll start in April and I'll go for a couple of hours every other day or Mondays Wednesdays and Fridays or something. Pa had to go and do all the registration work. He said that they were a bunch of jokers - something about them adding on all kinds of secret additional fees that had to be paid in cash blah blah blah us eating him out of house and home, whatever. You know what fathers are like. In the end, he coughed it up and we're set, man.
I'm getting a great deal of enjoyment out of climbing up stuff these days. Like, say, the toilet. I like to stand on it and flush it. I also like to climb up the chairs and sit on the dining room table when no one is watching. My favourite things are my stools and my pillows. I am very possessive, Mum says. I say get your hands off my stuff! What do I care if aunts hand sewed the pillow pictured above specially for Ji. It's pink, man, and now it's mine all mine. Tough luck, brother. I also like pulling out drawers. Here's a picture of me in the bathroom. My mom is trying to distract me with my toothbrush so I'll stop pulling out the drawers and biting the lids off the sunscreen and hair gel and stop licking them and putting all the gunk in my hair and I am just humouring her and making her think I like brushing my teeth until her back is turned:
Yo, check out my teeth! I've almost got canines now. Sweet! And my cheeks, how chubby and healthy can you get? Not much more, I say, than this.
While Pa has been away Mum has been doing extra "research" for school. She spent her weekend watching insane black and white movies on youtube including such fine masterpieces as Robot vs. Aztec Mummy and Devil Girl From Mars. She's weird.
Let's get back to me. Last point for today: I have a celebrity look alike! Check this out:
Yah. I know, I'm cuter. But let's not make Violet Affleck feel bad. I mean, her Dad used to date Jennifer Lopez, and now she's married to that creepy evil scrawny dude who looks like zombie. Hey, maybe we could get him to star in the movie about everyone getting sick while Pa's away! Now that would really be a horror movie.
Love yas. XXX OOO SY.
