hup two three four

A few narrow photos for you today, courtesy of our adventuresome weekend last week. Above you can see Seung Yi at the pool at school, picking up some random stranger's flip flop and staring at them. She stared at the flip flop's owner for a good, oh, three minutes. Then she squatted down. Then she stood up and kept staring at them. She's getting really into shoes, what can I say? She likes to go and sit by the shoe shelves and get me to put everyone's shoes on and off her feet. I swear I can't recall Ji ever doing this. Is it a girl thing? Is it, like, bred in the bones to want purdy feet?
In the second picture you can see Ji running for home during his t-ball game. There's a pretty serious Little League league (ha) here. Luckily Ji is still in the semi-non-competitive group. But you can see by his uniform, cap, and protective gear that they are seriass about this sport! Ji has also been on yet another kick to develop his abs and pecs and has been running around like a fool in the house. I blame the comics. Who else can I blame?
Lastly, we've got Seung Yi peeping around a pole by the swimming pool. Isn't she gorgeous? I've been holding off trimming her bangs because a) we've never had a kid whose bangs actually grew before and b) Phet doesn't want me to trim them and c) I was hoping we could just put hairbows in her hair all the time but...tonight I gave in and (DON'T TELL PHET) gave them a little trim because she refuses to keep hairbows in her hair and constantly pulls them out and stuffs them in her mouth. I guess we're just lucky the shoes that she gnaws on don't actually fit down her throat.
Adios!
