behold!

I've designed the logo for our countryside house. Stationary, t-shirts, tattoos to follow shortly.

Had fun being sick and spent the day at home yesterday working on stuff for the party. In case any colleagues from work are reading this: get lost! No, no, sorry, that's the illness talking. I meant to say: I had a doctor's note from the hospital (see below) and I also didn't want to infect the kids...didn't mean I couldn't get out of bed for a little while, though. And today, while I did go to work, my throat is actually worse. There's some epic battle for my body's continued existence going on at a cellular level, inside my right-hand side neck gland, which is pulsating grossly at this very moment.

NOT enabling my rapid return to health is the behaviour of my wicked son at school today. Devil boy not only scratched his classmate Almond on the cheek, but later also PUNCHED a little girl named Rui Gine in the face because she crumpled up his buddy Sam's homework. Please, send me a bucket of sand to keep in hand when I pick Ji up from his class, because let me tell you I am ready to play ostrich.

But back to the logo - I drew it all by my very self in Corel, overtop the photo that our evil real estate agent took of the house. I loathe to use anything he ever touched or had a hand in creating, but the angle he got on the house is kind of cool. So I will have the image exorcized one day, but in the meantime I'll just try not to think about where it comes from. After doing the logo I got bizzy putting together the CD stickers for the CDs we're burning. We had fun using the discards as pasties on Phet. Heh heh. [Countryside-5-July-2005]
